Two powerhouses of the local audio production industry will team up to deliver WNY’s premiere recording studio experience
ORCHARD PARK, NY – Locally-owned Starfields Productions and The Eastco Group announced today a new partnership that will see Starfields’ audio production business begin operating within Eastco’s California Road Studios, a world-class audio and video production facility in Orchard Park, NY.
Effective November 1st, Starfields’ owner Alan Dusel will bring 30+ years of audio production experience, an established local and regional client base, and considerable technological upgrades to The Eastco Group’s state-of-the-art recording studio at 3646 California Road in Orchard Park.
Dusel will also be actively involved in growing CRS’s client roster, managing the day-to-day operations of the recording studio, and providing award-winning engineering and production to CRS’s expanding customer base.
“With over three decades in the industry, Alan has earned a stellar reputation as one of the area’s most talented and hard-working audio engineers and producers,” said Heather Myers, Chief Operating Officer of The Eastco Group. “We’ve worked with Alan on a project-by-project basis for years, and we’re absolutely thrilled that he’ll now be calling California Road Studios his home.”
This partnership will also include key additions in equipment and technology that will enhance the production and engineering capabilities at California Road Studios, further solidifying CRS’s reputation as the premiere audio recording facility in the region. A team of experienced engineers, producers, and top area musicians will be available to provide high-quality production and recording services to businesses, nonprofits, and the music and arts community, both locally and nationally.
“This exciting new partnership with California Road Studios will deliver tremendous benefits to Starfields’ current and future clients alike,” said Dusel. “Not only will their projects be produced in a truly world-class recording environment, clients will also gain valuable on-site access to The Eastco Group’s comprehensive suite of marketing and communications services.” CRS’s parent company, The Eastco Group, provides a broad cross section of marketing and communications solutions for businesses and nonprofits – including strategy consulting; branding and message development; video, digital, and print production; product manufacturing and distribution; and more.

About Starfields Productions:
Starfields began as a local in home recording studio in 1984, and grew to attract attention from Trackmaster Audio, a major player in the local recording scene in 1985. Dusel was then invited to join the Trackmaster team, and “Studio D” was built and opened for joint use in 1986. Outgrowing this space, Dusel built and relocated the business to 463 Amherst Street in 1992, where he has been operating until now. This venture with The Eastco Group is the next step in continuing to provide top-quality production and recording to the regional music and corporate communities.
